Whether you’re in the mood for a juicy burger and a draft beer or looking for fine meats and wine for a gourmet dinner at home, check out these five new hotspots from Inlet Beach to Dune Allen!

With a motto of “Good food. Better Beer. Proper People,” how can you go wrong? Idyll Hound Proper, the newest addition to 30Avenue in Inlet Beach is wowing customers with its colorful and stylish interiors, welcoming atmosphere, and creative menu. The menu, created by longtime local Chef Nick Walton, offers anything from traditional bar fare of wings and pretzels to innovative larger plates such as the Nashville Hot Chicken Mac & Cheese (a must try!). Featuring local brews from Idyll Hounds Brewing Company along with a full bar, customers can opt to join the Founders Club for special discounts and more.


Papa Surf Burger Bar

The brainchild of country music star Brian Kelley and wife Brittney (30A locals who also own the popular apparel shop Tribe Kelley Surf Post in Grayton Beach), Papa Surf Burger Bar is a venture between the Kelleys alongside Jason and Brittany Aldean and Tom and Chris Glavine. Nestled in a cozy spot in Blue Mountain Beach directly on Highway 30A, Papa Surf features a laid-back vibe where customers can come straight off the beach to “ride the flavor wave” by grabbing a burger and a local brew around the outside Magnolia Bar. The menu features an array of burger options along with salads, chicken and fish sandwiches, and desserts.

Now open in Greenway Station 30A, the newest shopping and dining destination in Seagrove Beach, Turbo Coffee Seagrove is the 4th location for this Alabama-based company with a dedication to serving great coffee and food for everyone. With hand-crafted coffee and matcha lattes, acai bowls, avocado toasts, pastries, and more, find the healthy fuel you need for a long day in the sun!


3 Sons Bar-B-Q

A longtime favorite food truck in Freeport, 3 Sons Bar-B-Q opened a standalone location in the former Elmo’s restaurant on 30A’s west end. This new family-friendly hotspot features quick counter service with a welcoming atmosphere and a menu with a wide range of tantalizing homestyle favorites and few twists on traditional items like mac & cheese and baked potatoes loaded with smoked meats and the popular Slab Wrap – brisket on warm naan bread topped with onions, tomato, cucumbers, and Slabziki sauce. With games for the kids and a full bar and TVs tuned into the big game for the grown-ups, 3 Sons is a must-try for everyone!

A first of its kind on 30A, The Salty Butcher is an independent, boutique butcher shop and wine bar founded by Chef Stephen Buccalo and Sommelier Aubrey Craig. With a thoughtfully curated selection of quality meats, cheeses, wines, and specialty products with an emphasis on small, independent producers, and retail sandwiches prepared on bread from local bakery Black Bear Bread Co., you can stop in for a quick lunch and a glass of wine and go home with everything you need to prepare a gourmet dinner.
