Love live music and cold brews? Then there’s a new place in Apalachicola for you! The Apalachicola Yacht Club opened last month at the site of the former Tin Shed. The bar is a new venture from Clayton Mathis, a local who served as an integral part in the establishment of the Oyster City Brewing Company as a Forgotten Coast favorite.
Located at 170 Water Street across from Riverfront Park, the warehouse-like space features a large open space perfect for hanging out, dancing, and bands of all types.
Outside, a welcoming biergarten offers additional areas to gather, and there will be a food trucks scheduled occasionally so patrons can dine and enjoy select brews from Florida and the Southeast.
The bar’s moniker is an affectionate nod to after a group of locals who used to socialize under the same name Dan Garlick, Harry Raulerson, the late Charlie Williamson and Stan Jankowski. The bar is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from noon to 9PM, and Friday and Saturday until 10PM, and Sundays for special events.
