BREAKFAST POINT EAST
Just months after expanding into Northwest Florida, Fischer Homes – the nation’s 30th largest home builder – already has homes for sale in a market that a new national report calls a “gold mine” for homebuyers.
Fischer Homes is now actively selling new single-family homes from the mid-$400s to $700s in the Breakfast Point East community, with over 20 homes under construction. Amenities include hiking and biking trails throughout, with connections to 30 miles of the Gayle’s Trails Network. The community is in the Bay District Schools, which features the highly-rated Breakfast Point Academy.
In a recently published report, GOBankingRates – a personal finance services site and partner of Yahoo Finance – listed Panama City as one of the top markets for homes to appreciate in value beyond the national average growth rate of 1.7 percent. GOBankingRates projects that Panama City home values will grow 3.9 percent over the next year.
“Panama City is well known as a Spring Break destination, but it could also prove to be a gold mine for homebuyers,” according to the GOBankingRates report. ”Prices are expected to break the national average in just two short years and could gain in value by about $150,000 in ten years.”
WATERSOUND ORIGINS
Fischer Homes is also announcing that it will soon be offering its Paired Villas Collection in the Watersound Origins community, a new master-planned community in South Walton. Like Breakfast Point East, it is also developed by The St. Joe Company based in Northwest Florida.

Fischer Homes entered the Northwest Florida market in December 2023 through the acquisition of Samuel Taylor Homes of Panama City, one of the region’s most respected and successful home builders. Founded in 2011 by Matt Brandman and Hunter Collins, Samuel Taylor Homes has built over 800 homes throughout the Northwest Florida area. Known for their quality construction, they were most recently building in Bay County communities in Panama City and Panama City Beach.
Brandman now serves as Market President of the new Florida Gulf Coast East Division for Fischer Homes. “We knew teaming with Fischer Homes was the right move at the right time,” Brandman said. “And already, we are together producing quality homes that are projected to grow in value.”
