One of the most storied North American races, Visit Panama City Beach IRONMAN Florida began in November 1999. It takes place in Panama City Beach, which is known for pristine beaches and moderate fall temperatures. Just as the summer season winds down, it’s the perfect time of year to visit northwest Florida—and the event is as much a destination vacation as it is a race.

Emerald Coast Cruizin’ Car Show

Emerald Coast Cruizin’ is “The South’s Best Blast from the Past” Annual Automotive Festival, founded in 2005. Emerald Coast Cruizin’ was designed and developed for the automotive enthusiast, so whether you drive a Classic, Hot Rod, Street Rod, Exotics, Muscle car…this family friendly event has something for everyone! Stroll the event with access to thousands of show cars and trucks on display as a spectator, plus enjoy our Vendor Market Midway and Concerts. Admission Only Tickets can be purchased at the Event Spectator Gate for $20 per day (children under 12 are free).

Panama City Songwriters Festival

The 6th annual Panama City Songwriters Festival held downtown Panama City. A two-day festival full of local, regional and national songwriters. Multiple venues will be filled with 1 to 3 songwriters taking turns singing songs and telling the stories that inspired them.

Pickling for Wishes

Midnight Sun Pickleball is pleased to present the Pickling for Wishes pickleball tournament, with all proceeds benefiting Make-a-Wish Central and Northern Florida. Friday, November 8 – Mixed Doubles 60+, 70+ (3.49 and under and 3.5 and above) and all-ages coed singles. Saturday, November 9 – Men’s and Women’s Doubles (3.0, 3.5, 4.0+). Sunday, November 10 – Mixed Doubles (2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5+).

Public Eye Soar
Gulf Coast State College | Panama City

For two nights each November, Gulf Coast State College comes alive with light, sound, art, and fun. Experience the Public Eye SOAR – featuring imagery from all corners of the globe. This event features local and international projection art, live performances, interactive activities, short films, animation, photography, doodlers, the world’s largest pinball machine, and sand art. Since 2014, this event has featured the work of hundreds of artists from 45+ countries and territories. Soar is free, and all ages are welcome to this family friendly event of light, color, and imagination.

Annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony
Government Center | Panama City

The Bay County Board of County Commissioners, with assistance from the Bay County Veterans Council, will host Bay County’s annual Veterans Day Parade at 8 a.m. Monday, November 11 in Panama City. The parade route begins at Frankford Avenue and 12th Street in St. Andrews and travels east along 11th Street to the Bay County Government Center, located at 840 W. 11th Street. A wreath-laying ceremony will follow the parade at 10 a.m. outside the Government Center’s main entrance. Veteran’s Memorial

The Panama City Beach Veteran’s Memorial is located on West Park Drive just south of Aaron Bessant Park at Pier Park. The newly renovated Veteran’s Memorial honors all branches of the U.S. Military and all those who served our great country. Ceremonies are held at the site each year honoring the 4th of July and Veteran’s Day.
