The Miramar Beach and Destin real estate markets experienced a slight decline during April with 102 homes and condos closed and 45 properties placed under contract. On Okaloosa Island there were 19 properties closed for single family homes and condos combined and 3 placed under contract. In Navarre Beach, 9 properties closed, and 6 properties were placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida earned nearly $75 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during April.
The highest priced home sold in Miramar Beach was a four-bedroom residence in Island Estates in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort for $2.2 million. A gulf front, five-bedroom penthouse in Villa Burago was the highest priced Miramar Beach condo to sell at $3.2 million.
A bayfront, six-bedroom home in Kelly Plantation was the highest priced single-family home to sell in Destin at $3.2 million while the highest priced condo to close was a gulf front, six-bedroom residence at the Inn at Crystal Beach for $2.125 million.
