Sales in the Miramar Beach and Destin real estate markets rose slightly during June with 134 homes and condos closed and 66 properties placed under contract. On Okaloosa Island there were 19 properties closed for single family homes and condos combined and 10 placed under contract. In Navarre Beach, 8 properties closed, and 5 properties were placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida earned nearly $44 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during June.
The highest priced home sold in Miramar Beach was a four-bedroom residence in Burnt Pine in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort for $2.385 million. A gulf front, five-bedroom condo in Burago was the highest priced Miramar Beach condo to sell at $3.65 million.
A gulf front, seven-bedroom home in Destiny by the Sea was the highest priced single-family home to sell in Destin at $6.2 million while the highest priced condo to close was a bayfront, three-bedroom residence at One Water Place in the Kelly Plantation for $3.25 million.
