Sales remained steady in the Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets during April with 119 properties closed for homes and condos combined and 115 new contracts secured. Sales on Okaloosa Island were consistent with this trend with 14 properties closed for single family homes and condos combined and 19 placed under contract. In Navarre Beach, 13 properties closed, and 4 properties were placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $94 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during April.
A four-bedroom home in Tradewinds at Regatta Bay was the highest priced single-family home to sell in Destin at $2.534 million while the highest priced condo to close was a gulf front, three-bedroom residence at 1900 Ninety Eight for 2.75 million.
The highest priced home sold in Miramar Beach was a gulf view, six-bedroom residence in Gulf Pines for $3.995 million. A gulf front, three-bedroom unit in Grand Dunes was the highest priced Miramar Beach condo to sell at $2.3 million.
There were no single-family homes closed on Okaloosa Island during April while the highest priced condo to sell was a gulf front, three-bedroom unit in Island Princess for $775,000.
In Navarre Beach, the highest priced single-family home to sell was a gulf front, nine-bedroom residence for $5.335 million while the highest priced condo closed was a gulf front, three-bedroom unit in The Inn at Summerwind for $900,000.
