On Okaloosa Island, there were 13 properties sold and 5 placed under contract for both single family homes and condos. In Navarre Beach, 3 single family homes and condos combined closed, and no properties were placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida recorded over $60 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during December.
A harbor front, five-bedroom home on Holiday Isle was the highest priced single-family home to sell in Destin at $8.795 million while the highest priced property to close in Miramar Beach was a five-bedroom residence in the Burnt Pine community in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort at $5 million.
The highest priced condo sold in Destin was a gulf front, three-bedroom residence in Silver Beach Towers for $2.45 million. A gulf front, three-bedroom unit in Beachside Two in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was the highest priced condo to sell in Miramar Beach at $1.8 million.
The highest priced single-family home closed on Okaloosa Island during December was a sound view, four-bedroom home at $750,000 while the highest priced condo to sell was a gulf front, three-bedroom unit in Waters Edge for $850,000.
In Navarre Beach, the highest priced home to sell was a gulf and sound view, eight-bedroom residence for $3.225 million while there were no condominium sales.
