February brought an increase in sales to the Miramar Beach and Destin real estate markets with 93 homes and condos closed and a slight decrease in new contracts with 76 properties placed under contract. On Okaloosa Island there were 8 properties closed for single family homes and condos combined and 9 placed under contract. In Navarre Beach, 6 properties closed, and 8 properties were placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida earned nearly $38 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during February.
The highest priced home sold in Miramar Beach was a nine-bedroom residence in Frangista Beach for $3.27 million. A gulf front, four-bedroom unit in Grand Dunes – South Tower was the highest priced Miramar Beach condo to sell at $2.7 million.

A gulf view, five-bedroom home in Destiny by the Sea was the highest priced single-family home to sell in Destin at $2.95 million while the highest priced condo to close was a gulf front, four-bedroom residence at Signature Beach for $2.77 million.
