Pending sales were on the rise in the Miramar Beach and Destin real estate markets during January with 56 homes and condos closed and 88 new contracts. On Okaloosa Island there were 5 properties closed for single family homes and condos combined and 14 placed under contract. In Navarre Beach, 4 properties closed, and 8 properties were placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida earned over $62 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during January.

The highest priced home sold in Miramar Beach was a gulf front, seven-bedroom residence for $7.995 million. A gulf front, three-bedroom unit in Southwinds in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was the highest priced Miramar Beach condo to sell at $2.395 million.

A gulf front, four-bedroom home in Destin Pointe was the highest priced single-family home to sell in Destin at $3.7 million while the highest priced condo to close was a bay, three-bedroom residence at One Water Place in the Kelly Plantation for $1.925 million.

A three-bedroom home for $760,000 was the highest priced single family home to close on Okaloosa Island during January, while the highest priced condo to sell was a gulf front, three-bedroom unit at Bella Riva for $1.375 million.

In Navarre Beach, there were no single-family home to sales while the highest price condo to sell was a gulf front, three-bedroom unit at Summerwind West for $834,900.
