Pending properties were on the rise while sales remained consistent in the Forgotten Coast real estate market during January in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 27 single family homes closed during the month with 58 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions with 12 closings while St. George Island had the highest priced property to close, a five-bedroom home at $1.9 million.
