The Destin and Miramar Beach real estate markets experienced a slight drop in sales during June with 117 homes and condos closed and 63 new contracts. On Okaloosa Island there were 9 properties closed for single family homes and condos combined and 14 placed under contract. In Navarre Beach, 5 properties closed, and 2 properties were placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida earned over $77 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during June.
A five-bedroom home in Regatta Bay was the highest priced single-family home to sell in Destin at $2.817 million while the highest priced condo to close was a gulf front, three-bedroom residence at Regency Towers for $1.8 million.
The highest priced home sold in Miramar Beach was an eleven-bedroom residence in A Stone’s Throw for $4.4 million. A bay view, three-bedroom unit in Anchorage in Sandestin in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort was the highest priced Miramar Beach condo to sell at $1.95 million.
The highest priced home closed on Okaloosa Island during May was a three-bedroom residence at $700,000 while the highest priced condo to sell was a gulf front, two-bedroom unit in Waterscape for $740,000.
In Navarre Beach, the highest priced single-family home to sell was a sound view, two-bedroom residence for $775,000 while the highest price condo to sell was a gulf front, three-bedroom at Summerwind West for $840,000.
