March brought an increase in sales to the Miramar Beach and Destin real estate markets with 120 homes and condos closed and a slight decrease in new contracts with 74 properties placed under contract. On Okaloosa Island there were 5 properties closed for single family homes and condos combined and 12 placed under contract. In Navarre Beach, 10 properties closed, and 5 properties were placed under contract. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida earned nearly $38 million in sales volume across Walton and Okaloosa counties during March.

The highest priced home sold in Miramar Beach was a five-bedroom residence in Burnt Pine in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort for $4.725 million. A gulf front, five-bedroom unit in Grand Dunes – South Tower was the highest priced Miramar Beach condo to sell at $5.2 million.

A gulf view, ten-bedroom home in Park Row at Crystal Beach was the highest priced single-family home to sell in Destin at $5.75 million while the highest priced condo to close was a gulf front, three-bedroom residence at St. Maarten at Silver Shells for $1.662 million.
