Both sales and pending contracts were on the rise in the Forgotten Coast real estate market during May in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 47 single family homes closed during the month with 90 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions with 14 closings and also the highest priced property to close, a 2nd tier, five-bedroom home at $2.4 million.
