Real estate sales decreased slightly on the Forgotten Coast during October in the key communities of Apalachicola, Cape San Blas/Indian Pass, Carrabelle, Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, and St. George Island. There were 39 single family homes closed during the month with 64 properties currently under contract. Mexico Beach/St. Joe Beach had the highest number of transactions with 14 closings and the highest priced property to close, a gulf view home selling for $3.5 million.
