Spooktacular Halloween Events Haunt Bay County This October

Spooky season is almost here, and there’s no better way to celebrate than on the coast with Halloween-themed events! With anything from the beloved annual pumpkin patch at Camp Helen State Park to Rutherford High School’s Spooky Fall Festival to the raucously fun Little Village Halloween Bash, there’s the perfect event for everyone to get in the Halloween spirit.

Pumpkin Patch at Camp Helen
Camp Helen State Park | Panama City Beach
October 7th, 2023 (Saturdays in October)

Join The Friends of Camp Helen State Park for Saturdays in the Patch from 11AM – 3PM. This year, Saturdays in the Patch will feature wildlife crafts, nature walks, games, haunted history tour, storytelling, and live music with Huck & Lily. Food will be available for purchase in the park via food trucks. Pumpkins will be sold 7 days a week, from 9AM – 4PM through October 31st or until sold out.


Little Village Halloween Bash & Costume Contest

Get your costume ideas ready now!!! Little Village is hosting its annual HALLOWEEN BASH & COSTUME CONTEST, and it will be a blast! Costume contest prizes range from $50 to $200, and participants must be signed up by 7:30PM. Enjoy WOODS THE BAND playing from 6 to 9PM!!


Spooky Fall Festival

Rutherford High School Beta Club is hosting a Spooky Fall Festival. Vendors and school clubs that participate will have candy for children trick or treating. Sell your merchandise and make community connections. More details will be added closer to the date.

Calling all little ghouls and monsters! Get ready for a spooktacular evening at the City of Panama City Trunk or Treat! Join us on October 28th from 4-7PM at the Panama City Marina T-Dock where little ones can enjoy a safe trick or treat by the bay.


Boo by the Beach

Trick-or-treating is better by the beach! On Halloween, from 4 to 7 p.m., boos and ghouls can go store-to-store collecting treats in an open-air, family-friendly environment. Need something to wear? Pier Park is collecting new and gently used costumes at the Mall Management Office October 2 through 27. Costumes for adults and children in all sizes are needed. Guests can browse our costume bank to find their favorite scare wear!
