Spooktacular Halloween Events Haunt the Coast This October

Join The Friends of Camp Helen State Park for Saturdays in the Patch from 11AM – 3PM. This year, Saturdays in the Patch will feature wildlife crafts, nature walks, games, haunted history tour, storytelling, and live music with Huck & Lily. Food will be available for purchase in the park via food trucks. Pumpkins will be sold 7 days a week, from 9AM – 4PM through October 31st or until sold out.

Spooky season is almost upon us! Join us for the 3rd Annual Batty Fang-Tastic Halloween Event from 3-7pm! It’s going to be a fang-tastic time! Come dressed in your best Halloween costume, and don’t forget your trick-or-treat bag! Events include: Trick or Treat with our Ambassador Animals, Games with Spooky Prizes, Pumpkin Patch & Painting, Kid-friendly “Owl-O-Ween” Haunted Trail Walk, and Food Trucks & more!

The Emerald Coast’s favorite doggie costume contest is back! Join Dog-Harmony at the 8th Annual Barktoberfest, a canine-only trick-or-treating event, in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Complete with libations, light bites from JC’s Gourmet, music, and incredible raffle prizes, this event will feature a dog Halloween costume contest.

Come dressed in Halloween costumes, get your Trick-or-Treat candy, and prepare to be scared! We’re ready to celebrate Halloween under the night sky in our inflatable planetarium. Join us for a fun and scary night of monster stories, inspired by our planets, moons, and stars.  Join our 5PM or 6PM show for family-friendly stories about the creepy creatures of mythology hidden in the night sky, appropriate for ages 5 and up. Our 7PM Spooktacular Show is more appropriate for ages 8 and up as the tales told during this show are spookier.

The 2023 Halloweener Derby will take place On Saturday, October 28th on the Lyceum Lawn! Costume contest follows championship race. Follow the link below to pre-register your dachshund for this year’s race and your dog for the all-breeds costume contest! Please note all dogs will need to be checked in at the registration tent prior to competing in the derby or costume contest.

Join us for the 26th Annual Halloween 5K Run/Walk 10K Run on Saturday, October 28th at 9AM followed by a parking lot party with live music from Rich McDuff. What’s included with your race ticket: Free Breakfast of Coffee, Beef Stew, & Rolls and Free McGuire’s Red Ale, Bud Light & Irish Wakes. In addition, a costume contest offers prizes for best adult costume, best Irish costume, and best group costumes.

Join us for the Annual Monstrous Halloween Bash in the community of Rosemary Beach! Enjoy trick-or-treating, games, photobooth, costume contests, pumpkin carving and decorating, colored hairspray, balloon fun, our haunted cemetery, music and more! This event is fun for the whole family and is free and open to the public.

Calling all ghouls, ghosts, and goblins to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for a spooktacular extravaganza! This Halloween, Trick or Treat through the Village streets and visit merchants for your favorite treat. Steve Hall will play frighteningly good tunes on the main stage. Be sure to stop by Coconut Kidz to enter the costume contest and compete to win the grand prize! End the night with a spooky fireworks display at 8PM.
