Hot summer nights are made for music, and the Summer Concert Series has become a beloved summertime tradition in PCB. Enjoy a FREE concert in the park every Thursday from 7pm-9pm at Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater — bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the sounds of summer music; coolers, food and pets are welcome. June artists include: June 5: The Gr8ful dads and Foxy Vox (Acoustic Rock), June 12: Loud Planet (80’s Rock), June 19: Boukou Groove (New Orleans Fun/Blue Eyed Soul), and June 26: The Lucky Strokes (Southern Blues Funk Rock.)
Medal Madness 5K and 10K
Callaway Recreational Complex | Panama City Beach

Race kicks off at 8:30 AM with packet pickup beginning 30 minutes prior. All participants must register in advance on RunSignup — no on-site registration available. The 5K and 10K out-and-back course runs the loop twice for the 5K and four times for the 10K, with a 2-hour time limit for both. All finishers receive a themed medal, and costumes are encouraged! A group photo will be taken before the race, and best costume will be announced at the start.
The Longest Day of Dance Community Dance Showcase

This fundraising dance showcase features local performers celebrating the Summer Solstice by shining light on dementia. All proceeds support The Alzheimer’s Association’s Longest Day campaign. The event includes family-friendly performances, with acceptance based on availability. Vendors and food trucks will be on site!

The 2nd Annual Groove Fest in Downtown Panama City at the Destination Panama City building brings live music, DJs, and artists from across the Panhandle and Alabama. This outdoor event features food, boutique vendors, group tables, VIP seating, and a special Gold Member area. Presented by Grown Folks Entertainment and Destination Panama City, it promises a lively day of music and community!
