Tonight’s performance begins with Tchaikovsky’s lush and sweeping Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture and ends with Prokofiev’s intense and tragic Suite from Romeo and Juliet. Gracing the stage amid the two, guest cellist Brooke Scholl delivers the elegant concerto, Variations on a Rococo Theme. It’s a night of romantic Russian repertoire to wrap up a ravishing season!
