Discover Yoga & Wellness – Free Community Event

Coastal Lotus | Port St. Joe
Discover a full day of movement, mindfulness, and connection at this free community yoga and wellness event on Saturday, June 13 at the Port St. Joe Garden Club.
Designed for all experience levels, this welcoming event brings together a variety of instructors offering 30-minute mini sessions throughout the day. Participants are invited to explore different styles and find what feels best for their body in a supportive, relaxed environment.
Sessions will include Vinyasa Flow, Chair Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and a unique Hatha and Chair Yoga combination class that demonstrates how poses can be adapted for all abilities. In addition to yoga, attendees can enjoy short introductions to Human Design, offering insight into personal energy and wellness.
Mats, blocks, and straps will be available on-site. Guests are encouraged to register in advance and may sign up for multiple sessions throughout the day.
Blue Parrot’s Annual Mullet Toss

Blue Parrot Oceanfront Cafe | St. George Island
This annual event takes place on the second Saturday in June (registration starts at 10am ET), and benefits Franklin’s Promise Coalition, a Franklin County-based non-profit organization.
For more than 30 years, the Blue Parrot Mullet Toss has been hosted on the beach behind Blue Parrot. Participants pay a small entry fee and receive two mullet to throw, along with a unique Mullet Toss T-Shirt. Prizes are awarded for the longest throws in each division (divided by age and gender).
Locals look forward to this event all year long and visitors plan their vacations around it. Everyone has a great time spending the day at the beach, listening to music, enjoying the food, and competing for cash, prizes and most importantly… bragging rights! The current Mullet Toss record holder is “Wiggler.” (216 feet! WOW!)
Evening at the Edge of the Sea

FSU Coastal and Marine Laboratory | St. Teresa
Learn about the wondrous sea life along our pristine shores and shallows. The evening kicks off with a brief overview of local ecology, followed by a walk into the exposed tidal flats to see an array of fascinating creatures.
Edge of the Sea workshops take place at the FSU Coastal & Marine Laboratory in St. Teresa, FL. They start at 5:30 PM and end at 7:30 PM (unless otherwise indicated), taking full advantage of daylight savings time. The cost is $15 per person, paid at the event (cash or check). Class size is limited to 20 people. The minimum age is 7 years old. No upper limit at all! We do ask that children between 7-13 are accompanied by a paying adult.

It’s 2026 and before you know it we’ll be back in full summer and doing the thing we all love the most FISHING with FAMILY & FRIENDS. We would love for you to be part of the 2026 GollyWhopper Classic benefiting Mexico Beach Fire Department again this year. We have been working hard behind the scenes to be on track for a great tournament.
Hope to see you on June 26th for the Captain’s Party and June 27th for the tournament.
Registration is ongoing, but final registrations will be accepted at the Captain’s Party with great food and live music starting at 5pm Central, door prizes after registrations are complete.
Cape St. George Light To Host June Sunset And Full Moon Climb

The St. George Lighthouse Association invites the public to experience the magic of the full moon with a Sunset and Full Moon Climb at the Cape St. George Light on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 8:45 to 11:45 p.m. Location – The Cape St. George Light is in Lighthouse Park at the center of St. George Island – End of Island Drive (off the bridge) at Gulf Beach Drive.
